Do you know? The Tsar-Maket Museum in numbers
The fact that the layout of the museum-diorama "Tsar-Layout" is made on a scale of 1:87 is a well – known fact. But most of our visitors do not even think about other amazing figures... Our analysts have made calculations, and this is what came out of it…
If we add up all the railways that are present on our layout in one line, its length will be 1.5 kilometers. There are a little less highways – only 1 km. 60 locomotives that pull more than 500 freight and passenger cars travel along the tracks around the clock.
At the last count, there were 5,000 trees, 42,000 ears of corn, 700 lotuses on the layout. And more than 50,000 people live in our microcosm!
There are more than 700 architectural objects, including such iconic ones as St. Basil's Cathedral, the Spasskaya Tower and three Kremlins – Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and Pskov.
The production of the layout took 7 tons of gypsum, 7000 sq. m. of sheet non-combustible plywood, 750 sq. m. of translucent film. The European part of Russia was built for 6 years. But this is not the limit – now the creation of a diorama from the Urals to Kamchatka, Vladivostok and the Bering Strait continues…
